    SHIPPING

    There are 4 ways you can add shipping charges:

    ~~~
    A. Add a set percentage by editing your Paypal Settings in your FASO Control Panel:
    1. Login to your FASO Control Panel
    2. Click 'Commerce' icon - upper right, looks like a shopping cart
    3. For 'Standard Shipping Percent,' set your shipping percentage
    4. IMPORTANT: For 'Use Paypal Shipping (Disables all FASO Shipping Amounts)' - check No, otherwise your shipping percentage will NOT be added
    5. Click on 'Save Changes'
    ~~~

    B. Set up shipping charges in your PayPal account, based on the buyer's location.

    1. Login to your Paypal account
    2. Click Tools/All Tools
    3. Scroll down and click on 'Shipping Calculator'
    4. Click 'Add Another (or 'New') Shipping Method' (under either 'Domestic Shipping Methods' or 'International Shipping Methods')
    5. Make sure the currency listed is correct
    6. Click on your state
    7. Click 'Add'
    8. Click 'Continue'
    9. Set up as desired

    ~~~
    C. ADD the shipping amount to your Retail Price in FASO artwork editing screen.
    Then provide a 'breakdown' in the comments section in the editing page for each artwork.
    If your artwork is $1,000 and shipping is $150, you would enter the retail price as $1,150.
    Under comments you would add:
    Artwork: $1,000
    Shipping and Handling: $150
    You could also simply list the price as $1,150, and add to the comments section that shipping is free (this works great in this day and age of free shipping, Amazon, etc).
    D. FLAT HANDLING RATE:
    You can also add a flat fee to be added to every order, ie per order, not per item.
    NOTE: This feature only works on Generation 2 and higher templates.
    For example:
    Flat handling fee $10
    1 item: $100 + $10 handling - Total $110
    3 items: $300 + $10 handling = Total $310
    To add a handling fee:
    1. Login to your FASO Control Panel
    2. Click 'Commerce' icon - upper right, looks like a shopping cart
    3. To the right of 'Field For Future Use (Per Order Handling Amt)' add your dollar amount (no decimal or cents)
    4. Click 'Save Changes'
    SALES TAX:
    Tax calculations must be set up in your PayPal account.
    You can also automate tax calculations from your PayPal account according to location, as follows :
    -Login to your PayPal account
    -Click 'Profile'
    -Click 'Profile and Settings'
    -Click 'My Selling Tools'
    -Under 'Selling online', to the right of 'Sale tax,' click 'Update'
    -Click 'Add new sales tax'
    -Click 'Zip Code' and enter your zip code and the tax rate in the boxes
    -Click 'Continue'
    Note: PayPal tends to change their steps faster than we can keep up - hopefully all of the above is still up to date.
