Some recent questions / discussions from the BrushBuzz Art Forum:

1.) Do artists need New York City? (Click here to take part in this BrushBuzz Art Forum discussion)

Artist Fredo Conde added his thoughts to this discussion, stating, "You don't have to live in NYC but you gotta have presence. Travel there, network, promote your work, attend events and build relationships, show it there. The work can be made elsewhere but the game is there.". Artist Kim Wyatt offered her thoughts, stating, "I don't think we need NYC but I think the NYC gallery representation dream for artists is the equivalent to the white picket fence dream for Americans. It's a symbol of achieving success. We can be successful without it but right or wrong the NYC success seems more impressive therefore something artists dream of.".

2.) Artist stereotype #1: Artists are not interested in making money. (Click here to take part in this BrushBuzz Art Forum discussion)

Artist Jackie Jackson offered her two cents, stating, "Like everyone, we have to eat. We have to pay bills.". Artist Charlotte Herczfeld added, "The myth exists, and popped up somewhere around when Romanticism had taken firm hold, so it is at least a century old.".

3.) Will you be involved with an upcoming art exhibit? (Click here to take part in this Brush Buzz Art Forum discussion)

Artist Aaron Freeman shared some information, stating, "I will be entering two pieces in an art exhibit at Caldwell Arts Council in Oct., I am currently working on several paintings, I am not sure if there will be a central theme between the two.".
