Q: Can I link directly to my individual collection pages in my navigation bar?
Can I link directly to my individual collection pages in my navigation bar?

    A: Yes!

If you have set up collections, they should appear in the drop down menus when you add categories to your navigation bar.

Of course, you only have 12 categories so you might not be able to directly link to ALL your collections if you have a lot of collections.

In that case, you can also show all your collections in your works category by enabling the collections feature. When you log in to your control panel there is a tutorial called "How to group your artwork into collections." It would be very helpful for you to print that out and follow the steps.

Q: How to add categories or edit the Navigation Bar
How do I add additional categories to my Navigation Bar?

A: The Navigation Bar is the row or column of categories that link to the pages on your site, such as About the Artist, Works, etc.

The Navigation Heading is the name in large letters at the top of every page.

    To edit these:

    1. login to control panel
    2. click Edit Navigation Bar - left column
    3. for any category, click to the right and from the drop-down, select the type of page you want - this is how you control the order in which they appear on the site
    4. if you want to rename a category and use your own wording rather than our default name, enter text on the right, under Override Text
(for example, instead of Contact the Artist, you could call it Contact Me or just Contact)
    5. enter desired text for Navigation Heading
    6. click Submit

Q: Categories hidden on Navigation Bar
Why are some categories not showing on my Navigation Bar?

A: The most likely cause of this is that you have set your link color or visited link color to the same color as the page background color so the links appear to be invisible.

This can be corrected by changing the color in the Design / Color Palettes section of your FASO control panel.
