    Q: Add an image to your Contact page
    How do I add an image to my Contact the Artist page?

    A: Here's how to add an image to your Contact the Artist page, as FASO staff member Gayle has done on her site here:

    http://gaylefaucettewisbon.com/contact

    1. login to FASO control panel
    2. click 'Contact the Artist' - left column
    3. click 'Edit HTML'
    4. place cursor where you want the image
    5. click the 'Insert image' icon in upper row - looks like mountains/sun

    - A window will pop up with three ways to add an image:

    ============
    * Add a New Image from Your Computer
    * Use an Image that you've already uploaded
    * Use an Image from the another Website
    ============

    6. click on your preference
    7. find your image and click on the thumbnail to select it
    8. click 'Insert Medium Image'

    ============
    To resize this image:
    (Note: No worries making it smaller, but enlarging the image could cause pixelation/distortion.)

    -Click 'Full Screen Mode' (bottom left of text box) and wait for new window to open
    -Click on image - a new box should pop up above that says 'Edit Image Properties'
    -Click on 'Edit Image Properties' - wait for another new box to pop up
    -For 'Dimensions,' change the dimensions in just 1 of the boxes - these are measured in pixels. You may want to try 300 or 400 to start

    Note: If your browser shows little white boxes all around the image, you can also simply drag one of the CORNER boxes to resize the image.

    - click 'Update'
    ============

    9. click 'Save and exit'
    10. click 'Submit'

    Q: I'm not getting messages submitted through my site?
    I'm not getting messages submitted through my site? Clients have told me they submitted messages but I have not received them, what's the problem?

    A: Here are some suggestions as to what the problem could be:

    1. Check your spam folder and be sure it didn't go to spam.

    2. Check your FASO message log (instructions below) and make sure the messages are being sent and sent to the correct email address.

    3. Verify that your email address with FASO is a valid email address.

    4. If all the above check out OK, please open a ticket with FASO support, we can check with email service providers and be sure no blocks have been put on your email address.

    5. You can always be sure your are seeing all messages by logging in to your FASO account daily and new messages are the first thing shown on your home screen.

    -------------------

    Because email is not 100% reliable, we do have a Message Log that you can check to be sure you are not missing any important messages.

    To check your message log:
    Log in to your control panel
    Click on Contact the Artist (left menu bar)
    Click on Message Log

    Please double check this log to see if the people that had trouble contacting you are listed here.

    Q: Can I display my email address on my site?
    Can I display my email address on my site?

    A: You can display your email address on your site. However we DO NOT recommend that you do so. When you display your email address on your site, spammers will get your email address off of your site and your level of junk mail will increase over time.

    We feel it is better to let clients submit the Contact the Artist form (which is emailed to you by our system) and then YOU can respond to legitimate contacts (and then legitimate people will have your email).

    It IS OK (and we DO recommend it) to display a phone number if you would like to receive calls.

    To change this:
    - Log in to your control panel
    - Click on Contact the Artist (left menu bar)
    - edit info in top box (or both boxes if necessary)
    - Click Submit to save

    Q: Why are the fields on my contact the artist page yellow?
    Why are the fields on my contact the artist page yellow?

    A: The yellow fields are not a design feature on our side. They are usually caused because the browser from which you are viewing the page has the Google Toolbar installed.

    If the toolbar is installed on the browser you can click on settings (on the toolbar itself) and click on "Options" Turn OFF autofill to verify if that is indeed the problem.
