Biography
Wes Bulla is a representational artist working in the figurative and still life genres. Born in 1986 to an artistic family, his grandfather and professional artist, Stephen Bagnell, provided him with an exposure to the arts and a foundation in developing visual language. Wes later enrolled in the art studio program at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, where he received an education in art theory and criticism. Despite this background, he remains largely self-taught through an ongoing independent study of art history and traditional studio practices. Wes Bulla currently lives in Northeast Pennsylvania with his wife and two children, where he maintains a home-based studio.
