Artist Wedding Watercolors

An example of fine art by Wedding Watercolors

Photo of Wedding Watercolors

You may have seen an event painter at a wedding or other event. The artist and the customer have predetermined what stage of the event they would like to see as a painting. It may be the exchange of vows or later, at the reception, the first dance. The customer goes home with a relatively large painting that can be hung over a mantel or other prominent space.

That is not what I do. I document the entire wedding or event in a series of 18-24 small watercolors. This may include the prelude, the seating of the mothers, the processional of the bride, the vows,  all the way through to the recessional. Then at the reception following, my paintings might include the cake cutting, the first dance, the band, the guests mingling or dancing, the wedding cake, the getaway car; the venue itself.

I have painted as many as fifty-six paintings over a two-day period. I have also done many paintings from photos provided to me by my customer after the event. I can do a combination of both. I am flexible. Please contact me about your wishes, and I will do what I can to capture your special day in a way to preserve its memories.
