An example of fine art by Vicki Perry

Photo of Vicki Perry

Washington artist Vicki Perry loves the dramatic landscape of the Northwest and Puget Sound that she and her musician husband, Fred Francis, call home. For an artist, the West Coast offers a great deal of diversity and inspiration, from beaches to rolling farmland and majestic mountain ranges. Vicki studied art history, fine art, and design at both Washington State University and the University of Washington in the 1970’s. Her career path changed to real estate related industries in 1979 but her creative and artistic talents spilled over into her career through interior design, staging, marketing and advertising, all contributing greatly to her career success.
The farms and natural beauty of the tranquil Snoqualmie Valley where she lives, and recent travels through the Western States inspire her paintings. Her primary focus is oil painting, particularly the landscape. Her “Barn Series” was featured in a local juried art show. Her entire collection was selected as a solo exhibit at the Duvall Visitor and Centennial Center in Duvall, WA.  Numerous of her paintings have been juried into Northwest exhibits: the EAFA 2013 Open Exhibition,"Local Beat" Exhibition XII and the 2014 Member's Exhibition where her painting "Willapa Bay Tidelands" won the Jack Richeson & Co Award. In February 2015 eight of her paintings were exhibited at the Bellevue Regional Library as the EAFA Featured Artist. She was was recently featured in a two-man show: "One World, Two Views" at the Tsuga Fine Art Gallery in Bothell, WA. Other recent exhibits include VALA Eastside in the Redmond Town Center and at The Department of Ecology in Bellevue, WA. Two of Vicki's paintings are currently being shown in the EAFA Juried Member's Show at Tsuga Gallery in Bothell.
