Artist Two Sisters

An example of fine art by Two Sisters

Photo of Two Sisters

For those who view Jean's artwork she hopes to spark a pleasant memory or help to create a passion for the arts.  With paint and brushes she strives to capture a moment in time.  Luminous seascapes, an inviting beach cottage or shell seekers finding their treasures at the surf's edge are frequent themes.  Jean's sculptures often capture the carefreeness of a day at the beach.  Maybe depicting children at play while surfers run to the sea and families gather sea shells.  Perhaps the scene will simply be the intimate view of a lone woman in quiet repose.  Jean resides in San Clemente, Ca.  You are likely to spot Jean painting with the plein air painters of the San Clemente Art Association.
Joan Gonzales
Joan wants to create paintings that bring a sense of happiness to the viewer , paintings that show the American way of life. Having grown up in Southern California she likes painting people enjoying the beautiful California beaches, children playing at the water's edge, surfers searching for the perfect wave and moms and dads keeping their eyes on their  children while sitting in the shade of colorful umbrellas. Expressing her love for the Southern California beaches she also paints serene seascapes and colorful sailboats silently catching the ocean breeze. She tries to further her painting abilities by attending work shops and painting demonstrations but considers herself  self taught.
