The Artist Says:

Tina Garrett
b. 1974
In 2012, based on her self-taught pastel portraiture, the Scottsdale Artists’ School awarded Tina the first of two merit scholarships and she began working in oil immediately falling in love. And that is precisely what happens to Tina with every face she paints.
Tina's subjects represent a broad palette but regardless of subject, partakers are often caught leaning in nose to canvas to adore each brush stroke.
Tina is a proud two-time ARC Salon Purchase Award winner and ARC Associate Living Master and NOAPS Master artist.
In the few short years since Tina’s introduction to oil she has studied intently the Selective Start Method described in Alla Prima by Living Master Artist and Author Richard Schmid, studied in workshops and/or private lessons with Romel de la Torre, Casey Baugh,Aaron Westerberg, Lisa Gloria, and Jeremy Lipking. In the course of her serious pursuit of fine art mastery, the love Tina pours into each work pervades her imagery, helping Tina create a growing family of private collectors and commissioned clients throughout the U.S. and U.K.
Tina teaches varied methods of painting including from life and photos and is scheduled to teach in 5 states across the U.S and in Italy in 2017. Visit www.tinagarrett.com for more info and to hold your spot!

Collectors Say:

"Tina,We unpackaged "I Love NYC" last night and WOW, what a great painting. The more we look at it the more we appreciate your talent and creativity. The quality and nuances and intricacies of the painting are fantastic;  and the highlighted stiletto heel is just brilliant. The framing and packaging/shipping  and the email communication were also very professional, as were the attention to details, like the fact that it's ready to hang. We're glad we learned about you in the Southwest Art Magazine's article on Emerging Artists, and were curious as to what you have coming in the near future.
Once again, thank you for a wonderful work of art, and we'll talk with you soon." — Pam and Ken DeFeyter
