Artist Suzanne Rabaud

An example of fine art by Suzanne Rabaud

Photo of Suzanne Rabaud

Suzanne Rabaud was born in Paris, France, where she developed a love for all of the arts at an early age. Her Father was an opera tenor, and as a result of exposure to classical musical expression, she chose to be trained as a concert pianist beginning in her childhood.   At the same time, she began to pursue oil painting. Suzanne's work now reflects the influence of the impressionist masters, some of which were contemporaries of her early years.
In 1947 Suzanne married and moved to America, where she raised 5 children. During this time, she not only painted in every spare moment but also coached piano students full time! In 2007  Suzanne has turned her focus to painting full time in Texas.  In 2013, Suzanne relocated to Colorado to live near her oldest daughter near Loveland.   Those who have met her are impressed by her zest for life and her impassioned drive to continue to produce quality work. Suzanne has completed her life's journey here on earth leaving behind a huge legacy in her paintings and piano students that she richly taught.  95 years of a very adventurist life on this earth and leaving behind children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren will miss her very much but the vast memories and experiences with her will live on through this family and much of her artwork.
Her vast inventory demonstrates her diverse interest in nature through mountain, European, and Texas landscapes as well as lovely florals and detailed still-lifes.   Suzanne's collection is still available for purchase.
