I grew up on an old apple farm in rural Massachusetts.
Surrounded by forests, streams, and abundant wildlife, my passions for art and nature were kindled by this unspoiled environment. Drawing was always a thing I did, either to pass the time or record observations which then shaped my interests and the work I do today.

Tryon, M.C. Escher, J.W.Waterhouse, Norman Rockwell, Beatrix Potter, Hilary Knight, Maxfield Parrish, Walter Launt Palmer, Edgar Payne, John F. Carlson, The Group Of Seven including Tom Tomson, Andrew Wyeth and Robert Bateman ...
