My name is Susanna Stuart. Welcome to my gallery.  
I grew up in Vancouver on the West Coast of Canada, and have lived for the latter years of my life in Toronto. I've been blessed and deeply influenced by travelling widely throughout the world. Now, my life has taken me in the direction of Paris and London. Within the past few years, I have attended the Académie des Beaux-Arts, the Ateliers du Louvre, and the Sorbonne University in Paris, as well as London's Courtauld Institute of Art and the Bath Artist Studio in the U.K. to study art and art history. I recently completed my Fellowship at the Toronto School of Art, and have been invited to the Inglewood Press series as a speaker on "Art as Transformation".
Since I was 7 years old, I studied, practiced and later made a profession of art in various forms. My studies in oil painting originated in Canada, primarily at the Toronto School of Art, before I pursued further formal education abroad. My work has been shown at the Rumi Gallery and exhibited at the Homa Gallery in Toronto, where I have also instructed in oils. My paintings and sculptures have frequently been featured online at Fine Art Studio America. My work was exhibited at the Ateliers du Carrousel at the Louvre Museum in Paris. I also work extensively in private commissions, specializing in personalized portraiture and imagery in both oils and sculpture of "subject, time and place from the heart".
My interest in these mediums developed alongside a life story which took many large and unexpected turns. Painting and sculpture evolved with me through these transformations, and I drew primarily from within to express their influences and impact.
