     Painting is my passion.
What attracts me are scenes infused with mood and atmosphere.
The landscape of New Jersey is my primary focus.   My love of the coastal areas began in childhood with summers spent at the Jersey shore.  I paint in oil both en plein air, which is an exhilarating and challenging experience that feeds my soul, and in my Medford studio. Representational with loose visible brushstrokes and the intent to convey feeling is how I describe my painting style.  I want the viewer to be able to feel the sun and smell the sea.
