Artist Skeet Sirmons

An example of fine art by Skeet Sirmons

Skeet has been drawing since the moment he could hold a pencil, however, he's only been painting since around 2004. He is primarily self-taught and believes being an artist means always learning and striving to be better. Skeet says, "I find inspiration in many places  and I paint what I want to paint. I pray that people find as much joy in my work as I do in creating it."
Along with being a painter, Skeet is also a musician and songwriter. He plays guitar in an acoustic trio call Kitty Hawk Krash. KHK's solo project can be found where ever you purchase your music online. He has other CD's with a band called Zebedee's Blunder as well as three solo projects of original material.     Even though he’s passionate about art and music he also enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and soul-mate, Mardon’ and their miniature dachshund, Toodles. Artist Statement Painting, for me, is about sharing a moment of God's grace. It is about using what He has given me to somehow make the world around me a better place. I truly believe art should celebrate life. There is a calling unique to each of us. Some spend a life-time searching for it while others never find it. My prayer is that you find your bliss and make it a blessing for those who cross your path. As for me...I am a painter and a musician.  Blessings. Exhibitions:
