Sarah's work is inspired by the beauty of the natural world around her, whether in her home state of Washington, her native Great Britain or on adventures around the world. Painting allows her to study the details and subtleties of a scene, and share the beauty of what she sees with others.

Sarah has studied art with Peggy Braeutigam, and Alain Picard and taken workshops with Margaret Evans,  Liz Haywood Sullivan, Stan Sperlak, Marla Bagetta, and Richard McKinley.
She is a member of the Northwest Pastel Society and Plein Air Washington Artists.
