Artist Ronald Dykes

An example of fine art by Ronald Dykes

Photo of Ronald Dykes

I have worked to develop a voice, one that can be heard and hopefully enjoyed by all.
When I am not painting I am travelling visiting galleries, museums and observing vistas from around the world. I use these experiences as inspiration for my contemporary creations, some of which are abstract and others representational but all with one voice.
When not painting or traveling I am working to promote my art. Some of the venues where my work has been featured are: The Louis Deangelo Gallery in Baton Rouge, LA, Gallery 1724 in Houston Texas,  Mossrock Studio and Fine Arts Gallery in The Woodlands Texas, Market Street Art Show, and The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival and the Jung Center of was an honor to be selected as a finalist in the 2011 Hunting Art Prize, historically the most generous annual award in North America for painting and life has been greatly enriched having had the opportunity to create images that others have found worthy of possessing. I hope you enjoy the site and return often to see new images as my journey continues.
