   Roe Murray graduated from Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, Pa with an art education degree. She took graduate courses at Tyler School of Art, and Arcadia University and  went on to get an Early Childhood certificate from Immaculata University.
  She continued taking workshops with other artists and group studies with various affiliations. While teaching she continued to exhibit her work in juried shows and galleries. Moore told their teachers that they were artist/educators.
    She has taught for decades in public and private schools,the Delaware Art Museum,many art centers ,and privately from her home.
Her affiliations are signature member in the Philadelphia Water Color Society, associate member of The Howard Pyle Studio Group and a member of Delaware Valley Art League.
   I work in watercolors and oils. I like my work to have a loose , free feeling to it. I enjoy being near the water, so many of my paintings
are at the waters edge.I also love grasses and weeds and all things that grow on the ground, even winter grasses have beautiful color. Flowers to me are amazing and I am also drawn to them. I usually do not put people in my landscapes, which I think gives them a sense of peace. Peace and beauty are things we humans can never have enough of.
