Artist Statement
As a professional artist rooted in both art and design fields I seek to inform my visual practice with multi disciplinary knowledge. My body of work is comprised of paintings and small experimental collages/sculptures. I work in many medias but use cold wax with oils for my most of my paintings.  I love the process and the journey of making art.

New England landscape is my muse. I seek to paint my physical and sensory experience of this landscape. My experience of these natural elements influences my color and texture palette. These elements are used both symbolically and psychologically to further; enhance the artworks' emotional stance. My studio practice is deeply informed by my Plein air work. I employ it as my way of getting to know a place its color, light, texture, topography, smell, and atmosphere. It’s a process of falling in love with the place.
