Renee’s artistic career spans many years and several disciplines.  While in high school Renee competed successfully in numerous art competitions winning many and was awarded a commission for paintings in a hospital wing.  During university she studied art in New York.  With academic and chorale music scholarships, Renee completed her degree in Kansas. Upon graduation, she began a career with an international airline and began to explore the world.
Both art and travel build connections with others and creates a common heritage that transcends borders.
Travel, chorale music and art continue to be Renee’s passionate pursuits.  She has continued her studies with workshops coast to coast; from plein air watercolor in colonial Marblehead to abstract liquid acrylic in San Diego.  All have influenced her artistic style which can be described as Impressionistic; more identifiable than abstract yet more interpretive than realistic.  Renee has donated her artwork and talent to many charitable organizations throughout her career.
In the early 2000s, Renee and her husband owned Park City Colors, a gallery on Main Street Park City.  Fifteen times Renee has been an artist/ exhibitor in Park City Arts Festival, one of the top 10 festivals in the United States.  Her paintings are found in Corporate, Municipal and private collections in Europe, Asia, Australia and North and South America.
