An example of fine art by Percy Kleinops

After a life time of work which included being a law enforcement officer, attorney, entrepreneur, and food service industry consultant,  I am now an artist and poet full time. I have never been happier.
I work 6 days a week at Open Sky Studio and Gallery in Tarpon Springs, FL with my studio partner, Suzanne Elizabeth Murphy, an accomplished artist, illustrator, fashion designer, set designer, portrait painter and teacher.   We create visual art, teach and I also write poetry there.
I started with digital painting almost 7 years ago– it is always available to me. I traveled for business and my iPad was a convenient canvas. Writing poetry is new to me. But I have always been a poet. My words come from very deep within. Unknown words that have been collected and stored over a life time. My poetry and art have come together in my new series of Narrative Expressionism (see examples in Keeping Us Human under the Works section)
My paintings are influenced by the beauty of color, the people I encounter, the passion of life, the grace of women, the whimsical possibilities of what we see, social justice, the urgings of my spirits and angels, and my desire to ignite inspiration in the viewer.
I published my first book of poems with my digital art, To Keep Us Human, in early 2018 (available from Amazon).  I plan to publish my second book of poems with my canvas art, Our Hearts Beat the Same, in 2021.
My work is exhibited at our Open Sky Studio & Gallery in Tarpon Springs and at shows [...]
