Patricia Isaacs
Patti's art training began at an early age. She received extensive training in high school and went on to study at Indiana University Bloomington. Although her inner voice has always identified with the art world, life required that other events take the forefront. Patti has spent the past ten years developing her style and medium of expression. Her heart, mind and soul soar as she delves deeper into the world of her passion which combines silk fabric and painting. Patti is a silk painter and hand dyes silk fabric using the French Serti technique. She also is exploring the world of paper art. Patti's son is a US Navy Petty Officer, who has been stationed in Japan for nearly 6 years.  Much of the paper Patti works with is Washi paper she has brought back from her travels to Japan.

Patti has exhibited in such venues as Beaver Tales touring show in joint effort between artists and the Wetland Conservancy, The Big 500 at Pioneer Place mall, Washington County Open Studio Tour, Fire on the Water-The Dragon Boat Show at the Portland 5 Center, Four-Eights show at the Sherwood Center for the Arts, Celebration of Creativity Art at the Southminster Presbyterian Church in Beaverton, The Paper Garden Show at the Portland Japanese Gardens and has been a guest artist at the Art on Broadway, Fairweather House and Gallery and a solo show at Art in the Loft in Seaside, Oregon.
Patti co-juried the Sherwood Student Show 2016 -2018. Patti is a member of SPIN- Silk Painter’s International and is on the Washington County Open Studios board.
