An example of fine art by PATRICIA FRANCO

Loving art as I do, I've worked in many different media. Water color, oil, pastel, sculpture, photography are my interests. And since moving to Santa Barbara, I've been interested in, of course, the beach ! Just recently, my photo of "Surf School" taken at East Beach in Santa Barbara, won an award from the Coastal Commission. That same photo was chosen among others to be on exhibit in the Mayor's Office. My works have been shown at the Blinn House Gallery in Pasadena, the Channing Peake Gallery, Gallery 113, Faulkner Gallery and the Cabrillo Art Center, and have won various awards.
As a member of the California Art Club, Santa Barbara Art Association, Santa Barbara Sculptors Guild, Channel City Camera Cub, and of course, the Santa Barbara Art Museum, I am involved in the art scene.
Having taken many classes at UCLA, Otis Art, California Institute of Art, Santa Monica School of Photography and taken workshops with other fine artists such as Dan Greene, Neil Boyle, David Leffler, Charles Garabedian, the "art" of studying art is a life long ongoing process!
