Artist Pam Tullos

An example of fine art by Pam Tullos

Photo of Pam Tullos

I consider myself a contemporary impressionist painter.  Though my paintings are representational, often my work will begin as an abstract.  I find that by just putting color on the canvas in the beginning stages helps me keep a painting “loose” and also helps establish a color scheme.  Simplicity and color harmony are the driving inspiration for all my work.  I desire to capture the essence of the subject without incorporating every detail.  I want collectors to have an emotional connection with my artwork that they’ll cherish for life.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland and having lived in 8 different US states and the countries of Canada and Serbia, Pam considers Texas home and resides in the historic town of Granbury.
Upon touring the set designs at Universal Studios in California her senior year of high school, Pam knew that she wanted to pursue a career in art.  Having a successful decorative painting and mural business for 8 years, she eventually transitioned to the fine arts.
Pam is past president of Lake Granbury Art Association. Her works have been juried into regional Art Shows including The Stars of Texas Art Exhibition in Brownwood, The Fall Festival of Art and The Rio Brazos Exhibition in Granbury, Ft. Worth’s Art in the Garden and Spirit of the West Exhibition in Weatherford, TX.  Pam’s work is represented at Your Private Collection Art Gallery in Granbury, TX.
