The Artist Says:

My love of living in the South is lavished into my subject matter as an artist and author, inspiring me to categorize my work as “Southern Ambiance.”  I live life “seeing” artistically, always composing paintings in my imagination from everyday experiences. I believe the traditional mindset that art is meaningful when it has beauty and is understandable to any viewer, and that art and stories are only worthwhile when they are filled with hope that survives despite all life’s challenges. Whether using pastels, acrylic, or watercolor, I hope to create paintings with timeless compositions that are universally appealing.

Collectors Say:

"I'm crying right now.  I didn't email you last night, because I really could find few words to describe my joy at that time.
My painting is absolutely beautiful.  It's just what I wanted.  It's hanging on my wall and I still can't believe its awesomeness (and I can't stop looking at it).  :) Thank you for everything you did to complete it.  The painting means so much to me.  You can't even imagine its importance.  Thank you for your patience and professionalism. If I ever want to commission another painting, I will be contacting you.  I will also refer others to you, if I have an opportunity. Take care and God Bless."  --Collector of private commission "Transformative"
"It's beautiful!  Have special place in our Study for it." --Collector of "Heritage Corridor Cotton
"I will continue watching your work." --Collector of "Storm at Cherry Point"
"I have just purchased your Sunset Swan from the Cary Gallery of Artists as a 70th birthday present for my wife. She has a large curio cabinet filled with swans and I thought your beautiful and colorful painting would be an excellent addition to her collection and would be a pleasant way to display your painting. I am interested in any story that is behind the painting if you care to share it with me. Thank you for sharing your gift as an artist."  --Collector of "Sunset Swan
"Thanks for everything! The picture arrived safely and is 'just as advertised.' I believe my wife has selected a location (to hang it)..." --Collector of "Snowy Egret at Airlie Gardens."

"Nothing I can ever do in this life, no relationship I have here, and nothing I can study and teach to anyone would have any meaning apart from my salvation and faith in Jesus Christ. My joy in Him and sharing His love with others keeps my perspective on doing it all for His glory." --Ephesians 3:20, 21
