Linda is a native of Northwest Florida, her earlier years being spent in a rural setting of farmlands and cottonfields. Fate smiled on her and has afforded her the opportunity to live in the mountains of Northern Arizona as well as  in the Arizona Sonoran Desert, and in the bayous of Southwest Lousiana. In 1998 Linda and her husband Ken, settled permanently in Oklahoma.    Linda painted sporadically for years, but in 2006 she enrolled in a local Art Guild sculpture workshop with Pat Lane. The medium of clay was immediately comfortable.

Since then she has studied with such sculpture notables as Grant Speed, Philippe Faraut, John Coleman, and Herb Mignery.

She did not forsake painting, and has continued learning by taking classes with well known painters as  Johnny Lilledahl, Sonja Terpening, Mary Whyte, Andy Thomas, and Randy Meador.

She has participated in various local and national shows, including the Western Spirit Art Show in Cheyenne, Wyoming, The Mountain Oyster Show in Tucson, The Louisiana School of Veterinary Medicine Art Show, the Bosque Conservatory in Clifton, Tx, and The Art Show At The National Dog Show in Wichita, Kansas.
