Biography
My interest in drawing led me to the Art Center College of Design for training in 1962. While there I was exposed to a number of outstanding artists in addition to my major of automotive design. Graduating in 1966, I went to the Chrysler Corporation Design staff where I stayed for 33 years retiring in 1999. I had always loved painting and while I worked at Chrysler I began to develop as a fine artist. During this time I had several one man shows in three Michigan galleries. Unfortunately, the pressures of work overpowered my painting and I "hung up" my brushes until retirement. I now live in Florida, but I return to northern Michigan each summer and have the time to pursue my love of painting once again. I work in both watercolor and oil and am enjoying both studio and plein aire painting in both mediums.
