Biography

Born and Raised in northern New England, I lived my early childhood in a very Rural area, with lots of open space, wooded areas, fishing streams, farmland, and the like.  As far back as I can remember I liked to draw and read, and I can recall spending hours trying to re-draw comic book characters or movie characters, focusing on science fiction for the most part.  I would draw in pencil or ink in general (some colored pencils and crayons as well), only starting to use other media when I got into an art class in high school.  However, as is often the case, too many other activities took priority as I grew older, and thus it was not until I was in college in Florida in the early 80's did I actually purchase my first set of acrylic paints and canvas boards.  I painted in acrylic for a year or two, then switched to Oils which I've used exclusively since.

In 1998, after finishing college and working at Kennedy Space Center, and getting married, [...]
