Luellan: Multi-media Painter, Teacher, and Keynote SpeakerNancy Luellan is a painter trained in the classical style. She attended the Cleveland Institute of Art and holds a BFA, BSA, and MFA, and has won numerous awards for her paintings. Her work hangs in collections across the United States, Cayman and began painting in oils but found the spontaneity and drying time of acrylics allowed her to work on large canvas paintings with more energy and freedom of expression. She has also applied this to trompe l’oeil murals on walls, ceilings and floors. Recently she expanded her portfolio to include computer digital imaging which she thinks of as “Pixel think an artist must always keep trying new challenges to keep her creativity alive and fresh. In that vein I have discovered pixel painting...and I LOVE it! This is truly the new art medium for our times! There is a HUGE difference between pixel painting (also called digital art) and photography. As much as I love this new art medium, I HATE the term "computer generated art"! There is really no such thing as computer generated art! There is only "artist generated art" using the tools located within the computer's tool box. I now paint with pixels instead of acrylics!"Nancy is listed in "Who's Who in Photography". Her digital paintings  have been included in creative photography salons across the US, Germany, Argentina, France, India, Japan, & the moving to Ocala in 2013, Nancy taught Photoshop for the Palm Beach Community Continuing Education Dept. and for Palm Beach Community College and has written text manuals for both Photoshop CS and Elements.
