Michael Denering began his career as a graphic artist in advertising drawing audio visual art to teach children math evolving into production manager with a staff of artists, he worked his way up to Art Director.
 In 1977, Denering shifted focus to the entertainment field working for CBS Television City as a scenic artist as well as Mark Taper Forum and the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion painting scenery. Independent scenery shop R.L. Grosh & Sons hired the talented young Denering to paint backings and murals for Disney Epcot Center, several operas and stage productions.
 This led to the motion picture studios recognizing Denering's raw and sublime talent. Starting with J.C. Backings and in 1985 transition to Warner Bros. Scenic Art department.  While at Warner's Denering's extensive list of over 100 feature films designing and painting murals and backings include Oscar Winners. Ghostbusters, Lost Boys, Dracula, Batman, The Green Mile, Spiderman, Lethal Weapons, What Dreams May Come, Jurassic Park, Planet of the Apes, Iron Man, Pursuit of Happyness, Pirates of theCarribean, Charlies Angels, Seven Pounds, Transformers, Lemonysnickit, Diehard, Star Trek are amongst just a handful of his accomplishments.

Murals for Atlantic City-Golden Nugget, Las Vegas-Venetian,  City of Los Angeles, Marin County, Phoenix, Singapore, Beijing and other major city’s in China, Japan, Italy, Spain, France and across the United States of America as well as Paramount Studios, Disney Studios, Sony Studios, Universal Studios and Fox are featured in his vast assortment of commercial works .
