Born 1952 in Washington, D.C. Graduated from Wheeling College, 1974, B.A., English. Graduated from University of Maryland, 1978, M.A., English.  Fluent in German, with a working knowledge of French.
From 1978 through 1983, worked as a Technical Writer for businesses in the Washington area and New York City, including PRC, General Electric Information Systems and Bankers Trust. In 1983, I married and settled in Sindelfingen, Germany. From 1985 through 1993, I worked as a Technical/Marketing Writer for Hewlett Packard, GmbH, in Sindelfingen. Our two children, Anna and Daniel  were born in Germany. The family moved from Germany to Paris, France in 1993. In 1995, we moved to Ridgefield, all for corporate assignments for my husband. In Ridgefield, I worked as a realtor and copy editor, in addition to numerous volunteer organizations, including the Newcomers Club, National Charity League and Meals on Wheels.
In 2001, we relocated temporarily to London, another work assignment for my husband. Back in Ridgefield in 2003, I participated in a group show of watercolor artists at the Ridgefield Library. I attended figure and still life classes at the Silvermine School, studying with Frank Bruckmann, Dean Fisher, Wendy Shalen and others. I have exhibited paintings in the student shows at Silvermine. I juried into the 105th  New Haven Paint and Clay Club’s show in 2006 and the Brush and Palette Club’s Portrait Show in 2008. Also in Spring 2006, I was part of the “Emerging Artists” show at the Noroton Gallery and Frame Studio in Darien, CT. I have exhibited at Rowayton Arts Center’s shows and various member shows at the Ridgefield Guild of Artists and venues in Ridgefield.
