Biography
I began oil painting lessons in 2008 in Morgantown West Virginia. I was inspired by my fraternal grandmother who, at age 82, began in oils to help alleviate arthritis pain. I became active in the artist community as member and then President of the Morgantown Art Association.
My husband and I recently moved to Cincinnati Ohio for retirement and am slowly finding good teachers and great organizations. Painting is a priority because I'd like to leave a little something of myself behind for family and friends. I only work in oils because they are so forgiving and also fun.
In addition my art, I'm a member of two book clubs and a proud grandma.
