The Artist Says:

I enjoy the use of pastels since I feel that the medium has not yet experienced its full potential.  My pastel paintings capture the fleeting movement of light through the use of broken color strokes .  I’ve chosen to focus on the intimate settings of landscape to include nature and architecture.  I have a deep admiration and respect for the works of masters like Claude Monet, Joaquin Sorolla Bastida and Pierre Bonnard.  It is the work of these masters that I get my inspiration.
