After raising a family and teaching art, elementary, junior high, high school, and junior college, I longed to return to painting full time. My work is now in collections throughout the United States and Australia. My paintings currently can be viewed in national exhibitions and Arizona area show as well as online.  I was mentioned as one of the top muralist in the San Diego Area by the San Diego Union Tribune. My murals are in private homes in the Southern California area.  I designed the 1988 Las Patrona’s Jewel Ball that was featured in National Geographic Magazine.
I am currently concentrating on watercolor and oil painting. My work was chosen for the exhibit at the  La Jolla Secret Garden Tour in 2004. I have won honors in San Diego Watercolor Society Shows, and have been included in the 2005 San Diego Hospice Show and Calendar. “Hi Mom” was selected for the 2009 SDWA International Exhibition opening in October 2009. “Rent a Bike” won Best of Show in the February Show at SDWS 2010. My painting The Prince of Aravaipa was chosen for the 2010 San Diego Watercolor Society’ International Exhibition. I served as Third Vice President of National Watercolor Society and exhibiting with the NWS Boards paintings at the Annual Exhibition. I received Signature Membership in San Diego Watercolor Society in 2013. My painting Alison was in the Signature American Watermedia International Exhibition and Sale 2015. Three of my paintings were selected for the Scottsdale Artist League show at the Scottsdale Artist School in 2018.
