Biography
Marcia's passion for art began with the reading of the book "Drawing On The Right Side of The Brain" and in the summer of 2000, Marcia enrolled in her first art workshop. She is currently enrolled in the Fine Arts Certificate Program, Liberal Studies at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. Marcia has also received workshop instruction from Jean Pederson, Sharon Williamson, Tessa Nunn and Mike Svob.
Marcia is an active member in the Alberta Community Arts Club Association, Visual Arts Alberta, the Society of Western Canadian Artists and the Pigeon Lake Artist's Society. Marcia successfully exhibits in numerous group shows throughout Central Alberta during the year.
As an artist, Marcia strives to capture the essence of her subject at a particular moment in time.
