He who works with his hands is a laborer. He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman. He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist.  - St Francis of Assisi
Education: University of Illinois, Rockford College, Northern Arizona University and the San Antonio Art Institute.  B.A. from NY Regency College.
Linda has been an artist since childhood – growing up with a very talented mother who was a clothing designer and seamstress who taught her much about color and design and quality workmanship. She won her first award in high school in an all city art show, had her first paintings purchased in college while a student. She then studied and showed and sold works in various places that her husband’s Air Force career took them. Her active painting career was at a standstill the while she homeschooled their children. During the past 20 years however, she taught art classes to homeschooled students and did occasional pieces for fun. She has extensive experience in a wide range of mediums - pastels, acrylics, watercolors, pencil and charcoal – with even  four murals to her name. Now, renewing her painting career, Linda is enjoying painting the various landscapes of Virginia and portraits of people she loves. ________________________________________________________ "And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it."
