Lisa's paintings are inspired by her traveling experience and the simple beauty in nature and life: the bright sunlight,  blue ocean, blooming flowers, falling leaves, busy city streets,  green vineyard, colorful sunset and the charming villages in Provence........

Influenced by her architect father, Lisa has loved drawing and painting since her early childhood.  While Lisa’s professional background is in the field of Scientific Research,  she has always been interested in drawing and painting. While living in Paris in 1990's, Lisa frequented the many galleries and museums in France and other European countries. She was deeply inspired by the French Impressionists and fascinated by the works of Fauvists, such as Henry Matisse. She studied impressionist  painting techniques through workshops and by joined local art classes and painted whenever she had time. Largely a self-taught artist, She developed and established her own style of impressionist to express the beauty of nature by painting shapes of light and color using loose and fresh brushstrokes. 

Lisa loves the freshness and spontaneous of watercolor, as well as the brushstrokes and texture of oil paintings, She paints in both mediums now. 
Lisa also loves teaching and sharing her art with others, she has been invited to do painting demonstrations and workshops in Temecula, Fallbrook, New York, San Clemente and Mission Viejo. 
Lisa’s award-winning artwork has shown in both group and solo gallery exhibitions as well as  juried exhibitions. Her artwork can be found in private collections throughout the United State also as permanent collection at Temecula City Hall. 
Lisa currently Lives in Laguna Niguel, CA.
