The love of drawing and painting began in kindergarten; but it was not until decades later in 2004 when she began creating watercolor paintings.  After a personally difficult time in her life, she needed something to pull her out of the sadness she was feeling.  That's when she found a watercolor class titled "Free Spirit Watercolor".  She felt if ANYONE'S spirit needed freed; it was hers!  Linda is a self-taught artist who mostly enjoys painting landscapes—and is known as a painter of water.  She gives all credit to God who has blessed her in many ways to draw and paint her impressions of the scenes that only He has perfected.
Linda grew up in Pennsylvania and in her early childhood, her family took many vacations in the summer to the Eastern Shores of New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. Linda is an award-winning artist; earned a signature artist recognition in the Baltimore Watercolor Society and the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society. She is the President and workshop coordinator for the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society and draws in professional artists from around the USA to teach in Hummelstown.  Linda continues her education through workshops with those internationally known watercolor masters and paints most Monday's with fellow art students of the Free Spirit Watercolor [...]
