Linda Rust & husband Bob reside in Del Rio, Tx. where Rust began her art career and has been an artist for the past twenty five years.She has taught workshops at the Del Rio Council of the Arts and the Casa De La Cultura in Del Rio. Rust has participated in  local, regional, and national art shows garnering numerous awards along the way. Rust's work has appeared on the cover of the Mesa, Az. telephone book including three surrounding communities.She has worked with the Seminole Canyon State Historical Park Service in Langtry, Tx. producing caps, tee-shirts, and postcards with designs featuring the ancient pictographs of the area.Border Federal Credit Union of Del Rio has used her pictograph work on their ATM card with a production of 10,000 cards as well as a limited edition print for their publicity use.
In 2010 Rust had a one woman show at the Red River Valley Museum in Vernon , Texas featuring pictograph art created from images of the ancient rock art of the lower Pecos River area.
Her work has shown in the American Plains Artists Juried Show and Sale, the Stamford Art Foundation Show and sale, Trappings On The Llano Show and Sale.                                                                                             
Linda prefers to work in oil and pastels and particularly enjoys painting earthly still-life subject matter and also paints portraits in pastel.
