         Mayers is an established, contemporary artist and designer from Southern California.  He is a pioneer of many today’s advanced methods of creating, displaying, and enjoying art, and has contributed to the emerging acceptance of digitally created art as a major fine art movement.  His innovative impressionistic art has been sold in fine art galleries and exhibited from coast to coast throughout the United States, including New York's iconic Times believes the conceptual definition of fine art should include all items of beauty, that have been created as an artifact.  Although Les originally presented his art as traditional oil paintings on stretched canvas and specialized art papers, his artistic journey expanded to include the exploration of various emerging new media (such as milled metal, Plexiglas, and other unique substrate materials), advanced graphic creation techniques, and many new concepts of presenting graphic images and fine developed one of his first art-related innovations while he was studying art.  He designed and implemented an adjustable hanging easel to aid in the creation of his poured lacquer collections.  More recently, Les has focused on the ongoing advances in digital technology that help improve art creation and methods of presentation.  These advances in technology have allowed him to develop updated versions of contemporary wall art, various types of creative consumer products that feature his art for the fashion, gift, and home deco markets, and commercial products for the interior and exterior building and architectural materials of Les’ current collections originate as either hand-drawn concept sketches or digitally enhanced imagery that progressively evolve through various techniques Les personally developed and continues to hone.  His subject matter includes traditional landscapes, seascapes, and portraitures, and extends to include contemporary impressionistic studies of flowers and trees, urban landscapes, cities, architecture, and abstract his art [...]
