Biography
Painting for me is something that has found me, but yet, I have found it. All I want to do is improve my art, improve my ability and get closer and closer to the truth of what I see. I see light and dark, patterns, shapes that individually equal a whole. I feel like a jigsaw master, putting the pieces together to make a piece of art. I see my art as a journey of discovery, and seeing. My idea of what I want to achieve will always outweigh my ability and this is the way it should be. But on reflection as long as I can see growth within my work, I will always have a desire to do better, to see more clearly and grow more. I have always thought it would be amazing to see the world through the eyes of a master painter and maybe one day I will, as I dedicate time and effort to my craft.
I work primarily in oils, pencil, charcoal and digital illustrations
