Biography

She has had professional experience in graphic design and as a fine artist. Her love of animals has inspired her to paint wildlife and cherished pets. Her style is vivid and realistic, capturing the heart and soul of each one of her subjects.
As a young girl, every notebook and piece of scrap paper was filled with animal and horse drawings in the margins. It truly seemed inevitable that she would become an artist one day. But she chose a different life journey and spent the next 30 years following another passion...the love and dream of riding and competing horses.
Artist Statement"Horses kept me pretty busy and for a long time my easel sat empty. Eventually, my love for creating art gripped me and I discovered just how much I loved it and realized that this was something I needed to do."

"When I create art, whether it's with paints, pastels or colored pencil, I'm simply happy and I hope I can bring happiness to others through my art."
Testimonials"Kathy creates beautiful life-like art. Her work has such expression and soul. The pet portraits truly capture the personality of each fur baby, making them more than just a picture but a treasure for your heart. She is an exceptionally gifted artist."     -Robin Dayon, New Bedford, MA
