Making art has been my passion since childhood. I received my art education at the University of New Hampshire where I had the good fortune to study with the renowned Maine painter John Laurent and with the great New Hampshire watercolorist Dr John Hatch. I later studied at the Art Student League of Boston and at the Black Forest School of Art in Colorado Springs, Colo. I have since been very fortunate to study with the Maine pastellist Kathleen Galligan and the international pastel guru Albert Handell. Each teacher has enriched my life in many ways.

I am happy to report that as of July 1, 2015 I will be painting in studio A503 at the Western Avenue Studios in Lowell, Mass.  I am very excited to be joining the 300 fabulous artists in that venue. The studio (and the building) will be open on First Saturdays from 12-5  year round. I would love to have you visit. I am also happy to have you visit the studio anytime by chance or appointment.  Please email for an appointment. The Western Avenue studios are located at 122 Western Ave, Lowell, Mass.  My studio is A503. You can also view some of my paintings in the N.W. Barrett Gallery on Market St in Portsmouth, N.H.
My paintings hang in private collections across the [...]
