I was born in Chicago and moved to the South as a teenager. I have been a Southern Girl ever since. I have painted all my life but did not have the time to pursue it. Career and family always came first. Now, as life has slowed down, I have renewed my love. I Work in watercolor, acrylics and oils. t. I love the flow, and unexpected pleasure in painting. I paint or think about painting every day. I can't wait to do nothing else.

As artist Rebekah Joy Plett said:
"When buying from an artist/maker, you're buying more than just an object/painting. You are buying hundreds of hours of failures and experimentation. You are buying days, weeks, and months of frustration and moments of PURE JOY. YOU AREN'T JUST BUYING A THING, you're buying a piece of heart, part of a soul, a moment of someone's life. Most importantly, you're buying the artist more time to do something they are passionate about."
I subscribe to this thought.

Kathy Daugird White (remember the name)

We're drawn to certain people during our lifejourney and in an incredible twist of fate a few years ago, I met someone, my own age, who exudes joy and makes everyone around here feel better for knowing her. Kathy is one of those individuals who embraces life as I'd like to.

Being around her family is the same way.

Kathy is amazing at interior design, creating bedding and window treatments that are couture level. But, her passion is painting. She's a published illustrator of a children's book

Now, Kathy is going after her dream, and I'm more amazed at her talent than ever, but her passion and determination is amazingly inspiring.

Look at her portfolio. You can commission her work. I've got three personal family painting projects already lined up for her.
