Artist Julie Ann Jent

An example of fine art by Julie Ann Jent

Photo of Julie Ann Jent

Raised in Michigan by school teacher parents who summered in Montana with their three children, Julie gained her love of wildlife from her hunter and fisherman father and an eye for detail from her mom.  Her love of Yellowstone began at an early age.  In her younger years, artistic zeal blossomed in music, crafts, sewing, clay, and photography.
College at Montana State University beckoned, with the peaceful song of Yellowstone nearby.  Homesick, Julie finished her degree in Michigan but deep down she knew she would return to the "Big Sky"...and she did. Julie's life in the small cowboy town of Wilsall, MT combined with camping trips to Yellowstone, ever-present camera in tow, gave her a renewed love for the majestic west.  She knew what she saw--but it took a second college degree, this time in Art Education, for the seed of painting to sprout...and grow.  Now you see what Julie sees, as she shares this gift through her oil paintings.
Julie now calls Bozeman and West Yellowstone home with much time travelling the beautiful state of Montana and the Greater Yellowstone Area.
