has made a lifetime career of creating. Her love for painting emerging in Elementary School when she won her her first painting contest with her painting of a Robin was put on the cover of  her school magazine. She grew up in suburban Philadelphia and went to Penn State University to study Interior Design and Early Childhood, graduating with a BS degree in Home Economics. While living in New Jersey, she worked in oils, acrylics and watercolor, painting with Anthony Ventura for ten years. When she moved to New Hampshire, Judy has studied with Mary Bohn, Sylvia Brofos, Kevin Dadoly and the late Loran Percy. Her art work is distinctive, each painting showing her flair for originality and imagination.She enjoys painting a wide variety of subjects. Her love of nature is shown in her landscapes and larger than life floral paintings. Judy is also a decorative painter and muralist. In August of 2002 the Peabody Home, Franklin, NH commissioned her to paint eleven large scenic murals. She completed this project in the Spring of 2003. She was instrumental in having community members from 6 to 92 years of age design and paint 30 large light post banners. 22 in 2004 and 8 in 2006. They were exhibited on city light posts until 2012 for all to enjoy.She has exhibited in NJ, MA, ME and NH. She is currently exhibiting her work in PA. She now works mostly in watercolor,yet still enjoys oils and acrylics. While living in NH, Judy was selected to create the Merrimack, NH county seal. The first change to the seal in over 100 yrs.
