Joseph Saxon was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is an artist who draws from points in time conceptual themes. He showed a persistent passion for drawing as a youth and was taken to his first formal art classes in a Fairmount Park arts program. Joseph Saxon is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, after his graduation he was contracted by several advertising firms in Philadelphia. 
Joseph Saxon’s work brings to life his love of aesthetics. The use of watercolors, acrylics, oils, airbrushing, pastels and pencils are the tools that have canvassed Saxon’s work in a wide scale of subjects. He has participated in art shows inclusive of the Rittenhouse Square Spring Art Show and the NFB. He also has sold work in galleries and to private collectors in the Tri-State area. His usage of space demands and invites the viewer to respond. Joseph Saxon’s work has a motif of dominant champions to subjects which engages the viewer to welcome and receive into their lives joy. His work gives experiences that anchor the viewers walk in life.
