An example of fine art by Jinx Springer

Born and raised in Indiana, I grew up with a love of horses.  The only way this small town girl could be next to one, was to draw it.  I started on my chalk board in my room and went through sketch book after sketch book.  By the time I was able to purchase my first horse, I was already an artist showing and winning local exhibitions.  I graduated high school with three art scholarships and a double Gold Key Finalist.
I have entered the age of wisdom now.  Life has certainly been full of lessons, pain, joy, and love of all kinds.  Through it all, I have never given up the brush.   In 2007 I was awarded the opportunity by Tohono Chul Park in Tucson Arizona to paint four First Day of Issue envelopes for Steve Buchanan's Pollinator Stamp Release for the Historical Society of Tucson.  It was one of the first events pertaining to the trouble that our pollinators  are still facing today.   We had over nine thousand visitors to the park that day .  It has been my rock star moment and I am so grateful for the opportunity to participate in such an event.   In 2008 I juried into the Hilton Head, South Carolina Art Leagues national exhibition held at the Walter Greer Gallery located in Hilton Head South Carolina.  Out of 800 artists who applied, I was chosen by the League to become one of the top 100 artists in the United States for that year.
Other than independent study, I have no formal art education.
