Lady Jill Mueller - born 1944 in Hollywood, California, presently resides near Reno, Nevada. Early schooling in high school and college was all fine arts, with a scholarship attendance at the Laguna Art School (formerly the Laguna Beach School of Art and Design). Thereafter she has studied with several other professional artists, among whom were the late Impressionists David Millard and Ted Gorschner. While living and schooling in Laguna Beach she was greatly influenced by transparent water colorists Rex Brandt and Milford Zornes.
She has been practicing as a professional artist since 1977, and teaches watercolor in the western United States.  During the 1980's Lady Jill traveled, painted and exhibited at the south rim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona, USA. She was then commissioned by Fred Harvey, Inc., the concessionaire at the south rim to execute a large painting for their collection.

Beginning in 1980 Lady Jill began teaching watercolor and drawing, in her own workshops in California and Nevada and in Yosemite National Park.  For 15 years Lady Jill organized and taught week-long workshops in Scotland at a castle and more recently a refurnished farm house on a 50,000 acre estate.   After moving to Nevada she continued teaching at Western Nevada Community College, Truckee Meadows Community College and for the last two plus years at the E.L. Cord Museum School of Art in downtown Reno.
She has been included in group exhibitions over the years:  Watercolor West Annual Juried Show in California, Arts for the Parks, Classic American Western Art Show in Los Angeles, CA, and at the Ellensberg Western Art Show, Washington, among others.
