Artist Jenny Passler

An example of fine art by Jenny Passler

Challenge should have been my middle name, I thrive on it!
I guess my first life challenge was "landing" a job as a flight attendant with Delta Airlines
and dealing with the traveling public, weather, fuel crisis, lack of sleep, away for the holidays, 9/11,
but also meeting many interesting people along the way. Flying international opened my eyes to
wonderful art museums throughout Europe and finding treasures in the many European markets.
Always interested in the arts, painting became another challenge. We are so fortunate in Newnan to have many talented artists that I have taken classes and workshops from, including Corinne Galla, David Boyd and Elsa Sibley. Other workshops I have attended were taught by Leon Holmes, Vicki Norman, Roger Dale Brown and Gerald Merfeld.
I am a Georgia girl, born in Atlanta and moved to Newnan before 9th grade in high school,
graduating from Newnan High School. Newnan is still my home and full of beautiful farms, historical houses and architectural surprises around every turn.
Painting is the most relaxing and sometimes frustrating challenge I have going now and one that I will hopefully be working on for the rest of my life. I hope you enjoy viewing my work as much as I have enjoyed creating it!
"Art is not what you see, but what you make others see" Edgar Degas
