An example of fine art by Jennifer Turner

To be honest, art doesn’t play a big enough role in my life. I’ve always had a passion for art.  I took classes in high school and dabbled here and there in college, but the muses truly took hold of me a few years ago while I was on vacation on Prince Edward Island. The gorgeous scenery, especially the lupins, and a lesson with a local artist made me realize that painting wasn’t just something I could pick up now and again, but it was something I had to find time to do.
I love to paint inspiring landscapes, which I commonly discover during family vacations. I also enjoy painting houses and structures that hold special meaning to their recipients. Although acrylics are my current preferred medium, I also like to experiment with watercolors.
I am a life-long resident of Attleboro, MA and a member of the Attleboro Arts Museum, Pawtucket Arts Collaborative, and Foxboro Art Association. When I am not painting, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two sons.
